About Us

As the Operation and Maintenance Company, PT KPJB is responsible for power plant operation and maintenance, coal handling, jetty and port management for Tanjung Jati B Unit 3&4 (2×660 MW)Coal Fired Power Plant (CFPP) under the O&M Agreement with PT PLN (Persero) Pembangkitan Tanjung Jati B. In carrying out the O&M Services, KPJB applies World Class Management Standard supported by experienced and competence employees and also supported by experienced and trusted mother companies engaged in power plant business


A Brief History

TJB Coal Fired Power Plant owned by PT Central Java Power (PT CJP). Unit 3&4 are the Expansion of the existing Unit 1&2 Power Plant and leased to PT PLN (Persero) Tanjung Jati B under the Expansion Finance Lease Agreement. PLN TJB appointed the consortium of Korea Midland Power Co,.Ltd (KOMIPO)  and PT Pembangkitan Jawa Bali (PT PJB) as the selected bidder for Operation and Maintenance services, this consortium then established PT KPJB on October 1st, 2012

Shareholders

KOMIPO (Korea Midland Power) is responsible for supplying 13% of all domestic electric power in theRepublic of Korea via operating major Power Plants in 6 different regions all over the nation including Boryeong Thermal Power Site Division. The Company provides plant construction and consultancy services, operates thermal power plants, and also provides maintenance and repair. KOMIPO provides electricity to Korea Electric Power Corporation

PT Pembangkitan Jawa Bali (PT PJB) is a subsidiary of PT PLN (Persero) established on 1995. PT PJB has 6 (six) Power Plant Units with total capacity up to 6.977 MW consists of Steam Power Plant (PLTU), Gas Power Plant (PLTG), Gas and Steam Power Plant (PLTGU) and Hydroelectric Power Plant (PLTA). Nowadays, PT PJB expands its business related with power plant such as power plant O&M services, EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction), Power Plant consulting, Power Plant education and training, renewable energy training and other
